What’s next for KamalaDevi?
The new moon is a time for introspection, intention setting and spiritual renewal. Lately, I’ve been reflecting on new dreams and visions after stepping out of leadership with ISTA. Initially, I imagined grounding closer to home with my orchids and two new kittens while continuing to work on my memoir. But the Universe had other plans. When the invitation came to co-facilitate the next Temple Training at Highden, with Bruce Lyon and Atilla Çıdam, I felt an unmistakable vibration in my core—the kind of calling whispers: Come to New Zealand. Your next evolution is happening here.
Personal Growth VS Soul Intiation?
One of the reasons I left ISTA leadership was because I was training to lead Level 2 Soul Initiations, then that path went underground. (Partly because we realized that soul initiation requires much more presence than one week in temporary retreat.) Even though I wholeheartedly believe in the personal growth work that ISTA continues to do, I need to follow my call to do soul initiation and co-create soul culture.
In esoteric terms, personal growth is about improving the seperate self, while initiation shifts the center of gravity from identity to soul. Instead of working on our mortal garment which is woven from body, mind, and emotions, we recognize ourselves as soul, the eternal animating force behind it.
As you know, my soul’s purpose has always been about love—its beauty, its heartbreak, its healing power. But love is asking more of me now. Love wants to take shape—to participate in designing temple technologies and soul culture. The Highden 3.3 Temple Training is about weaving heaven into form, and somehow, I know I’m meant to be a part of that pattern.

Returning to Highden at this moment on the planet feels less like a decision and more like destiny. This third cycle, Ray 3, is about creative intelligence—about weaving love into the architecture of reality.
Six weeks at Highden isn’t another workshop—it’s an ecosystem. A living temple where we pray, practice, and remember how to build culture from the inside out, where the land itself is a teacher. The temple is a dedicated monastery surrounded by an old grove forest. Each morning begins in meditation, each evening ends in ceremony. Between those poles, we meet the curriculum of life itself: love, conflict, beauty, breakthrough. It’s not a retreat from reality; it’s an exercise in re-scripting reality.
It’s a call to move from separate self into synergy with a group field that is in service to something bigger. So, if you’ve felt an invisible pull to become an architect for temples of the future, maybe this is your portal to bridge the mystery and matter. Have you felt the pull of something beyond the personal, beyond the political? The Mystery is dismantling old forms now, and we are being asked to build new ones. The Mystery is building through us, as us. Will you answer the call?
