Journaling is my spiritual practice. My writing partner, Cheri Reeder, caught me doing my “morning pages” in her back yard bathtub last week, but normally I do it in my bay window with a cup of tea or protein smoothie.

The daily practice involves three pages of handwritten stream-of-consciousness that spans from emotional rants to divine downloads.

Do you journal?                                  What’s your practice look like?

Since I happen to be between books, waiting for 2 editors to send me their drafts this season, I’m grateful that journaling can keep me connected to my craft.

My spiritual practice may change from season to season, but writing for me is as essential as breathing. I must do it, so why not do it consciously and with style!?
