In this juicy conversation, KamalaDevi speaks with Liz Hahn about why it’s so hard to claim our desires, and how to unfreeze trauma to honor our somatic wisdom. Liz has a unique way of working with the body and the earth to activate the primal animal.

Liz Morris

My name is Elizabeth. I grew up in the same cultural confusion as most of us did. For as long as I can remember, I was waiting to accumulate knowledge, money, time, love, etc and believed all of this would make me happy. I felt disconnected from my body, had poor self esteem and felt depressed. I often remember thinking to myself: “What’s wrong with me?” I felt extremely lonely and unworthy of love. Feeling so unhappy prompted me into deep healing and transformation.

I hold a Bachelors degree in Integrative Therapeutic Practices. I studied anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology as well as nutrition, herbal medicine. I was always fascinated by the miracles of the human body and curious around how to find optimal health as individuals and collective.

My masters degree is in Ecopsychology- the study of the relationship of the human psyche to the planet. I believe that much of our pain can be healed through a recognition and reconnection to the “More then human world”. I weave in Ecopsychology extensively, encouraging my clients to connect to the world around them and see their bodies as aspects of the greater tapestry of life.
