Hello World!
Thanks for all your prayers and well wishes! Upon returning home from 2 spectacular weeks in Paradise, Michael and I found ourselves knee-deep in a family legal issue. As tempting as it is to raise awareness about the struggles of our alternative lifestyle, I will hold my rant until the case officially closes next month.
What I can say is that 2016 has provided a string of opportunities for me to practice my new year’s intention: Keep my sprits high when external circumstances are challenging. (This is what Version2 calls, “empowered despite circumstance” or in the words of Tony Robbin’s “Maintain a beautiful state, no matter what!”) Forgive me for bragging, but I seem to be kicking ass! Here’s a quick list of the tests I recently rocked:
While enjoying my New Year’s dinner, a tooth fell out. It was a surreal experience to look down and see a gold crown sitting in my salad. Then I spent the day nursing my co-teacher who contracted Dengue Fever in Thailand. Within a few days, I lost my phone, broke my computer and had to find a new location to practice tantra with approx 40 participants who enrolled in one of our week-long Spiritual Shamanic Sexual Experience retreat (ISTA Level 1.) It turned out to be nothing short of mind-blowing!
When I add it up, however, the list of challenges pales in comparison to the blessings. I’m delighted to be back in San Diego with my fully upgraded husband. Watching him with his long distance lover
Ria, shinning so brightly at the ISTA retreat, made me to fall in love all over again! Except now, it’s not just a polarized marriage between the two of us, but a fully activated system where his inner feminine and masculine (both wounded and healed) are consciously interacting with all 4 of my inner masculine and feminine aspects. If it sounds complex, I assure you that it is a lot simpler to make the unconscious conscious, than to play these dramas out in the shadows of our psyche. And the challenge remains, how can we maintain a beautiful state in any and all circumstances? I’m thinking about taking a 30 day challenge to practice being unconditionally positive…who’s with me?
So what’s new for me this year?
After a year long healing journey, I realize that my body needs more healing. (I’ll be writing details, soon.) So, my sabbatical will be partially extended, I’m still enthusiastic about 3 big book projects, and occasionally traveling to exotic places to teach with my ISTA tribe and of course I’m cooking up an extravagant week long PolyPalooza (in Jamaica!) however, I plan to reduce the number of speaking engagements and clients I take on this year.
